I am currently reading The White Queen, by Philippa Gregory. She also wrote The Other Boleyn Girl, which I haven't read yet. I decided that I needed to read it after I saw that BBC One was going to do a series on The White Queen series this summer. I'm almost done with it and I really like it so far. The book is written in first person with the main character being "The White Queen." She is a very strong character, which I think is really refreshing. I really like how a bit of magic and legend is woven through the plot based on history.
